Watched an elderly re-run of Pie in the Sky on ITV3 and thought I'd wandered into Albert Square.

I've got kind of used to the concept of Ronnie waitressing in the Crabbes' restaurant but seeing Minty as a policeman stretched credulity a bit. Then Jack (Honey's dad, aka Nicky Henson) turned up as a faded actor who fancied Margaret Crabbe a bit.

Also noted in EastEnders on Monday that Clare made reference to her absent stepfather, Nigel. If only she'd known that he's now walking the corridors of Holby City Hospital.

In the same vein, a teacher from Waterloo Road seems to have had a previous existence in 12th century Shrewsbury, as evidenced in an episode of Cadfael.

What incongruous part changes have you seen?

Ian.

yes, it's funny how the soaps fail to acknowledge one another, or any other television programme, in the scripts, but they freely trade actors between themselves.
