Remember, folks, this IS the Sunday Express, now that the tabloidsare effectively banned from telling stories about thr rich and famous, they have to come up with something in order to sell the advertising space _________________ Geddon

The Sunday Express clearly know nothing about Doctor Who - where in that article does Steven Moffat actually say the Daleks won't be returning? Nowhere. Because he's already said they will be.
As for "His clear-out may include the Doctor’s assistant Rose Tyler, played by Billie Piper" - well, yes. She's gone. She's already been cleared-out.
I'm sure Moffat said a lot of interesting stuff in that interview, but it's a pity the Express didn't report any of it. |

Dr Who is a Timelord ... he travels through time and space. Daleks exist in time and space - we've seen them!!! So it follows that they are still there in time and space , so, and this is the biggy, they can never be exterminated because they're always available in time for anyone who can time travel. So there! |

er.... not exactly. At the end of the Eccleston series, Rose/Bad Wolf wiped out their existance - erased them from time. It's a massive paradox but it meant that the Doctor could no longer travel back through time to confront them.
But they always find a way to bring them back - in Series 2, they were hidden in the 'void' between dimensions, in Series 3 there was just 4 of 'em trying to create a new race, and in Series 4 they were spawned from Davros (but got blown up in the end). |

yeah funny old things those paradoxes Ian... you see to erase the Daleks from all time, would mean they never existed and therefore could never have taken part in the time wars , the end of which made it impossible for the Dr to travel back to his home planet before it was destroyed- leaving him , oh and the Master ..the only Time Lords left .
What has actually happened is that the Dr and the story writers have made us think that the Daleks have been erased from time because we can understand a paradox that can be explained .. ha ... well ...
It isn't like that at all... we're just not clever enough to understand...it wouldn't be a paradox if we could understand it:- the Daleks will be back ( if they ever went away) Trust me
Think about back to the future 3.... when Marty in 1955 saw Doc struck by lightening .. Doc and the time machine went back to 1885...Marty dug up the time machine from the old mine in 1955 where the Doc had burried it in 1885 and then Marty went back to 1885 himself in the time machine- where the Doc was also with the time machine that he had been struck by lightening in ( the one he burried in the mine)- so there should have been two time machines but there wasn't- otherwise they could have just fixed one using the other for spares and taken the fuel from the one that the Doc went back in, and it would have been a very short movie, but time travel doesn't work like that..
" If the me of the future is now in the past- how could you possibly know about it"? |
