Foreign Secretary David Miliband will be on with Jeremy Vine. Talking about all things and the article in The Guardian about his vision of the Labour Party. No mention of Gordon Brown in the Article.
I wonder how he will spin out of this one? |

All the cabinet seem to be related to each other so this will probably end down in the family courts.
You have the Milliband brothers on one side versus Mr & Mrs Balls on the other with Great Aunt Harriet and Creppy Uncle Jack Straw fancying their chances as well. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Has Miliband overstepped the mark writing an article? Should he be sacked or resign and go for a leadership challenge? |

or maybe he should just be allowed to write about what he thinks?
I believe the media are more and more responsible for all these flash-in-a-pan stories getting too much exposure. _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Thats true they do sometimes add words. So does Miliband have an original copy of what he wrote so he can defend himself? |

Very good show today in my opinion, I'll probably listen again later on to hear it again.
I'd very much like to see the government step in over this disgraceful hike in energy prices - c'mon Gordon, here's your chance?
I'm fuming over the pathetic replies from the energy minister.. we haven't the storage facilities! There's two damn great gas holders sitting idle in my town alone! how many more have been scrapped or sitting idle.
(Didn't I hear a while back that we could pump excess gas back into the drained oil fields in the North Sea for storage?)
but why is everything "we're currently looking into..." or "plans are in place" ... what happened to long term plannning? couldn't the powers that be see this problem coming? and I hate the constant contradiction about UK prices compared to the rest of Europe - some say we're cheaper; other's insist it's more expensive.
The feedback was obvious ( to me ) from telephone callers - New Labour are so out of touch with the people of this country it hurts.
Interesting to hear the caller asking for us to pull out of all the Middle East's problems and save the Billions that it's costing us - using it instead to fix our own problems in the UK.
I can't help but agree with that.... _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

I think he defended himself on today's show very well, he didn't attack Gordon Brown at all - in fact the opposite.
but that's not the point, discussions now should be about policies, policy changes and more importantly, listening to the people of this country and recognising what a crap state we're in! _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07
