Anyone care to give an opinion? I thought it was great!

I was really confused at first as I thought it was a real life documentry catch-up ( I didn't see it 10 years ago) Hubby put me in the picture ..... It was quite stark and edgy I thought...... are there really people like that?

I'd like to think not, and I've never come across any, but then again I never had a high-powered career, nor do I live in a country mansion.

Didn't see all of the original series, but I think this was (even) sharper and more edgy. I know they've said they won't, but if they did do another in 10 years time, how many of them do you think would still be alive? (Characters, that is!!)

Here's a bit more on my own view. I watched this right from the start in March 1996 and really enjoyed the reunion. Mrs W, who remembers quite a bit less of the original than I do, wasn't so impressed.

Perhaps the whole wasn't quite the sum of its parts--it was a bit long for its content. But the writing was as witty and incisive as ever and I never thought that Miles would end up losing everything and deciding to go travelling.

It reminded me of that old adage that, as we get older we get more and more like ourselves.
