I've not mentioned it on here, but for the last week , I've had really funny ears with impared hearing as if they were full of water, they made all sorts of squelchy sounds in my head when I talked. I've been quite worried. Last night they got worse- almost completly deaf - jolly worried , said to hubby, if they're not better in the morning- I'm off to see the Doc. He said, just have a spoonful of honey sprinkled with cinnamon. I said, and that will cure my ear problem will it? Oh yes, he said, it cures almost everything. I thought, well I'll give it go before I go to bed but I forgot, so woke this morning barely able to hear. Said to hubby, I can't hear you - he yelled, did you have the honey and cinnamon? No! So he went and got a spoon of honey sprinkled with cinnamon. Down in one... quite pleasant... He went off to do his thing for the day... about an hour later - loud popping noises in my head-then hearing perfect. |

Oooh, I should try that. My ears usually get blocked up around this time of year (I think it's because of hay fever and a build-up of stuff in my sinuses) so I'll give that solution a go. |

I am glad someone else gets that as well. Usually just one ear or t'other, deep mid-winter with a cold or, yes, during my hay-fever month (mid-June to mid-July). Goes away on its own after a week, but feels very funny at the time, so I might try that, for express relief. _________________ Ron |
