Here is a footage of a Boy who was hit by a bus whilst climbing over some railing in Scotland. He is lucky too be alive. I'm sure he won't be doing this again.

Hmm. Well I don't think the bus hit him.

I reckon just he was leaping on the fence he saw the bus and just dropped onto the road hitting his face and shoulder on the road.

What message will it get across?

The kid is famous for five minutes. Other kids will do stuff and put it on Youtube.

Effect on public safety - zero.

His head does appear to hit the bus as it passes; I don't think it would have stopped otherwise.

Interesting to note that the bus was in the cycle lane, as were two other boys walking up the street at the start of the clip.

The message is similar to the ad they ran with the lad mucking about with his friends and on his mobile getting mown down by a passing car.
