Best wishes to all who are hosting or visiting Macmillan coffee mornings tomorrow.

My workplace will have the coffee on and quite an array of cakes and biscuits has been arriving. I guess that's my diet off for a day, then.

Ian.

A few extra calories for a good cause? Enjoy!
Take the dog for a longer walk on Saturday.

I wish all the Macmillan nurses everywhere a most successful coffee morning fund raiser. They are angels and without 2 very special ladies, Macmillan nurses, I think I would have gone over the edge in the last 5 years.

Called in at my former workplace and pleased to see they're still doing this. Had a piece of home-made banana and pecan loaf that was so good I bought three extra slices to eat at home, and blow the possible effect to my waistline.

All in a good cause, doc.

We do this at work every year too - the canteen still has books and CDs left over from last year's event left over for this year's sale!

I would've gone to yesterday's, but I was at a job interview the same day!

Just bumping (and recycling, to save the environment!) this thread, to remind everyone that this year's Macmillan Coffee Morning is Friday next week - 26th September.

Ours went pretty good too, lots of happy bargain hunters at our mini boot sale!
I had to smile as our chef made 100 sausage rolls for the occasion and visitors were buying whole trayfulls! maybe they were priced too cheap at 20p! Laughing
We made £180+ for charity and it was enjoyed by all. Razz
