I certainly enjoyed listening to him when he was on Radio 5 (before it became 'Five Live').... he does have a penchant for the more unusual tracks and trivia - ISTR his interviews with 'stars' leant more towards their ridiculous behaviour years ago (when he was working at NME and was well placed to witness it)....

I'm not sure the R2 audience at large is ready for a dose of Danny Baker but I would listen to him for a couple of hours on a Saturday night instead of the present 2100-2300 slot incumbent....

I like Pete Mitchell and think he is a good solid presenter.

But without a doubt Geoff Lloyd was the more talented one out of the two. His Virgin Radio show is fantastic. Thank god for the podcast where the music is cut out! Radio gold!
