Are embarking on our usual amdram pantomime week now--Dick Whittington. I'm not appearing on stage this year but am doing lots behind the scenes.
I've done a pantomime trail recording for tomorrow's Elaine Paige's show. Of course they don't guarantee that they'll use it but here's hoping!

I trained an ear on the radio above the clatter of our kitchen lunchtime and made a dive for it when I heard some people talking about Panto but not sure if you're famous or not Ian! _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07
I have heard how radio should be. |

Thanks for trying. I was out so set it to record and haven't had a chance to listen yet. You don't recall roughly how far into the programme this was, I suppose?
Thanks, anyway.

Have now heard the Elaine Paige show and they did include my recording. On my Listen Again it starts at 50 minutes 24 seconds. Listening to the recording, I feel that I've slightly over-compensated for a tendency to talk too fast in public speech by going at a slow pace but I trust that this will do its little bit to help morale along a touch.
