Just in case anyone missed her slighly creepy excitement this morning....
Sarah is to interview Richard Armitage from 'Robin Hood' on Monday morning at about a quarter past seven. I've never known her to conduct an interview on the Dawn Patrol before so this should be intriguing - especially as she's spent the last two years rubbing her legs together over him. Unmissable radio. Just make sure you don't opt for a more exotic breakfast that morning
Nick. |

Should be interesting. No doubt they'll be plugging the new series of Spooks, in which he will be starring.

I suppose Guy of Gisborne makes a change from Guy bloody Henry!
I've mellowed to SK a little bit recently, but that shameless plugging every time Mr. Henry got so much as a walk-on part in an am-dram production used to irritate the hell out of me. |

I think you're probably being rather unfair to Mr. Henry. I'm pretty sure he has acted for the RSC (not exactly an am-dram company) and he was Mr. Collins in the recent "Lost in Austen" drame on TV. |

If you woke expecting Sarah to interview Richard Armitage on Dawn Patrol. Unfortunately Sarah caught the flu over the weekend. Richard Allinson is happily covering.
I feel really sorry for her as she really wanted to interview him. |

Fantastic news that Richard was on Radio 2 this morning covering the Dawn Patrol show covering for sicknote.
Sadly I didn't catch this live-will have to revert to Listen Again.
Did RA advise if he is covering for the rest of the week etc-after all flu is a terrible thing. |

He expressed hope that she'll be back tomorrow... so we shall see. |

Nah, first rule of corporate sickies, it's never a good plan to have only a Monday off -just looks like you've had a heavy weekend if you do that, and people always think the worst. You have to have Tuesday off too to give the illness some "credibilty", and if you can eek it out until Wednesday, all the better... come back on Thursday - everyone is too busy thinking about the weekend to notice that you're back. I didn't make the rules - it's just how it is. I remember my induction to the Civil Service in 1982 and an old CS taking the "lecture" said, one day's sick ( unless arranged in advance for a hospital appointment or the like) is the one thing you must never do. |

I have to say I really ejoyed the interview with Richard Armitage earlier this week on the Dawn Patrol Show.
Richard Allinson is excellent re these interviews.
Maybe he should consider carving out a TV career. |
