Good question! I miss Fran, I only catch her rarely now as she only seems to be on at night. I would like to know why she's not a TOG anymore! Crying or Very sad

I e-mailed her at the time to wish her well (as did many others) and she replied to each e-mail individually which I thought was awfully sweet of her.

Her replies indicated that it was not her decision to leave the breakfast show and the suggestion was that she was not considered as 'witty', by the management, in comparison to the other contributers to the Wogan show. I always loved Fran and looked forward to her rotation the most. It made no sense to me.

Wogan did mention her on the show about a month ago - remarking how he missed her. It is very very weird though...just such an odd action to take but I guess we can't see into the minds of Ms. Douglas and her minions.

Well I actually think Boggy, Deadly and Charles are funny people - I enjoy listening to their exchanges with Terry BUT Fran appeared to have more 'personality' - it always appeared as if she was giving herself to the public. Whether this was an act or not is immaterial - it felt like good company, and I miss that from my morning drives to work.

As for Lynn - well, she seems nice and all, but she never really makes me laugh. All seems a bit forced.

I like Charles Nove but I don't think Deadly is funny, I find him really annoying. John Marsh I like because he seems like a nice person, I don't think he is that witty though.

Hear hear re Deadly, he's not funny just ubiquitous. Did you hear Wogan saying Deadly had had to leave the ship to do the Lottery! FGS, any numpty could do that. Sorry but he really gets on my wick. Boggy and Charlie are fine though!
