There's no way he's going to climb off the gravy train, I fear. Nice though, the way he dumped on the Sergeant at Arms, Jill Pay. Her handling of the situation leaves a lot to be desired, but since he was largely responsible for her appointment to the post, I think he bears some degree of responsibility. Others have resigned for less. |

I thought the Speaker's performance was comical - reading from a well-honed script and calling for "order, order" when he was interrupted by catcalls! I would think his position was untenable, but what do I know? I only contribute to his salary! _________________ MiS |
