Received the 5 disc box set of this yesterday and it's bloody brilliant!

There are 3 CDs and 2 DVDs in the set, the latter being an audio version of the concert with the DVDs obviously being the visual one.
There's a short documentary called Gdansk diaries about how they set up the stage and other such things, there are also a few nice extras such as clips of DG with Guy pratt, Rick wright and Steve DiStanislao (drummer) jamming away in his barn at home.

The concert itself is just stunning, there is nothing I can fault about it, loved 'A great day for Freedom' and 'High Hopes'
Echoes was incredible, dear old Rick was in his element and it's kinda comforting in a way to know he was having the time of his life.
There are many other highlights too, really enjoyed Phil Manzanera from Roxy Music on guitar/backing vocals and the orchestra really added to the general feel of all the songs.

It's just ace, the best cd/dvd I've bought in ages.

Did anyone listen to the second hour of tonight's Radcliffe & Maconie show which was a Pink Floyd special which featured an interview with David Gilmour on his houseboat. A couple of tracks from that Gdansk live set was also featured in it.

I missed it, opting to watch "Survivors" on TV instead.. no doubt it'll be on again.
