This is a coincidence.. and probably an "up yours" from the Fates who smile at me from time to time.
Due to the unbearable DOL show on Saturday afternoons, I treated myself to a quality DAB radio ( a "Pure" with SD card recording from Currys )
The next day, I took it back because although I knew the situation with DAB in my area, it wasn't very good on FM either!
So today, I bought a similar DAB radio ( Roberts this time ) but looked at one of these WiFi radios which was only a few quid more. Fearing yet more technology hassles I din't buy it.
Needless to say, the Roberts wasn't much better.. if a Gnat sneezes on the aerial I lose the DAB station..

Wish I'd have bought the WiFi now. Big L would be a favourite..

My latest DAB radio purchase is a LOGIK one. Very good indeed. No reception probs
I also have BUSH (not very good) and a PURE EVOKE which is OK but can be tempremental. The LOGIK is the best of these easily.
But the Net has a much wider range of radios.
WiFi, are those the Internet Radio things? I just listen on my laptop
Like you I have a fear of technology
I bought a digital camera months ago but havn't opened it yet!!
I'll just use my phone camera- when sonmeone helps set up my digital camera thwen I will use it!

Yes, the WiFi radio can pick up the internet radio signal via your pc I believe. That would appealt to me and I remember Helen M talking about hers earlier.. I'll leave that till later when I have broad band.
I bought a new digi camera too last March.. I got my best glasses out to read the instructions but gave up within minutes.
I just pushed buttons until it worked but there are plenty left and I have no idea what they do! Laughing

The same happened when I bought a new watch. It is supposed to set itsself, but first you need to set it. You can not do it in the normal way. You need to read a 40 page instruction book first
I took it back & got one you can set the time by turning the button in the normal way!

Clive, once you've used a good digital camera you won't look back! Mine is a C*n*n 400D and at the turn of the dial you can take colour or B&W. Plus you can take as many as you want and then edit them down via the screen without waiting for the negatives to be developed. Also the film speed can be easily changed for low light or bright sunlight conditions. The only problem is that if you want to get some printed out, you may find you have hundreds on the disc, so you should edit them onto a CD and get them printed that way. You can re-size them and attach them to emails too.

Clive,

If it's the CD that frightens you, you may not need it. I plugged my Kodak digital into a customer's PC and Windows Camera Wizard started up. For downloading the pictures it was much quicker and simpler than the complex/slow Kodak software that I put on my own PC.

So you might not need the CD to see/edit/print your photos.

Snap! Brilliant piece of equipment and still exploring the capabilities...

Bit heavy for long walks when you have the telephoto as well ... but worth it!

(But I still have a little pocket one for fun!)

John, agree about the downloads. I always use the Microsoft Wizard which ever camera, then I don't get confused!! Well not much anyway...

Still getting used to taking photos by the hundred. Use it as sports events and just let it keep snapping away! Sometimes even a good picture at the end of it...

Coming back to your original Clive after having got myself distracted!

I listen on my PC all the time I am in the office. Nothing in particular but all the stations are there so I just take my fancy. But like Mike, it has to be Time FM on a Sunday morning!!
