Tune in next Sunday night between 7pm and 9pm on BBC Eastern Counties Radio, all stations except Radio Kent for two hours with Colin Berry playing those non-commercial library discs of light music from days gone by. It is going to be full of light music along with some non-commercial tracks, tv themes and testcard pieces as well. A mixed bag of instrumentals galore.
Go to BBC local radio on-line and tune in to any of the BBC Eastern Counties Stations except Kent to enjoy a light music feast.

Many thanks for that. Doubt if I'll be able to listen then. Do you know if there's a Listen Again facility?

Ian.

Once it has been broadcast I will hunt around and report back here if I can find a "Listen Again" facility on any of the BBC Eastern Local Radio Stations. But I think it is doubtful as it is a one-off.

I've just checked BBC Radio Essex and Colin Berry has other shows - the last one is still on iplayer so there is a chance.

Yes John and Ian. Colin will still have his two-hour programme next Saturday Night on Listen Again. But the programme he is replacing with his Light Music Special on Sunday at 7pm is "Rokker Radio". It may be worth clicking on that broadcast in Listen Again to see if Colin pops up there after his broadcast.

For some reason that direct link doesn't work.
Try http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p001tlfy/Rokker_Radio_28_12_2008/

An excellent selection,by the looks of things. I've just got to find the time to listen to it all!
