Ok, the 1990s quiz is up, and it's a very different format from the first two.
Hope you enjoy:
QUIZ WAS CLOSED 27 JAN 2006

I'll have to mend my headphones before I try that one
Thanks for doing these quizzes by the way. |

Thought I'd have done best in the 80s quiz but I "only" got 80% on it. Did much better on the 90s one. Makes up for the 40% I scored on the 70s! |

We've had only four entries to the 1990s quiz but it includes a supremely impressive 100% score
There's a challenge for someone to match that
I'll publish answers and scores in the week.

Discretion being the better part of valour, I listened to the first few questions and thought to myself, "Aye, I'm getting nowhere fast here...."!
Eighties were fine, nineties were when I discovered that my musical tastes weren't compatible with the Top 40 any more.....
Would the quiz give out a minus score? _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

I had a quick go at the 70's one and got a reasonable 80%, had a look at the 90's and only knew the Dolly Parton song, ruined by Whitney Houston, IMHO. Can't we have a 50's & 60's one for us KOS's

Thanks for the input.
These quizzes are just to see what sort people like, not many into the 90s it seems but I can't ignore someone getting 100% on a soundclip quiz.
Are the multiple choice quizzes more popular than the sound clips? I like doing a mix of both and the soundies are easier to set up.
Anyway I aim to set 50s and 60s and classical ones hopefully this week and folks can submit questions/answers to me via private message if they wish.

Thanks John, thats great, I think that both vote for Joe & the musical clips formats are good, I will try and think of some questions and forward them.

A mixture of both is fine by me, John.... _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

I think we've had all the entries to Quiz 3, the 1990s soundclip quiz; 6 entries in all and one outstanding winner with 100% : shakyfan
Others might want their scores as their entries are sent to me and probably not saved on their own PC
shakyfan : 100%
Natasha : 70%
Toggy Tea Slurper : 60%
Heloise : 60%
no name : 60%
scorpio : 20%
Answers are now posted on the Quiz Answers thread.
