Apparently today is another " worst day of year" - is this not the third worst day of the year we've had since Christmas?

For no explainable reason, I'm really happy and upbeat today Very Happy but getting back to today being the most gloomy day of the year- I propose that we combine all of the worst day for everythings into just one day and have an official "National Worst Day" - what a party that would be- it could be a Bank Holiday; that in itself would help to cheer things up - the banks cannot do any harm when they are on holiday can they? The rest of us could sit around moaning and complaining about anything and everything, including having bank holidays when the roads are so busy- why don't we have bank holidays when the roads aren't so busy?

I mentioned elsewhere that today I've probably had the least number of e-mails in my Inbox ever on a Monday!

I now have just 3 customers, in my diary some weeks just two days work, but I'm not gloomy, in fact I'm enjoying the free time. Today wasn't free as I has to write up some reports at home, hopefully customer will agree to pay me for three hours Rolling Eyes

I think the media have worsened the financial crisis, with their negative reports hitting general business confidence, and reducing corporate activity but increasing corporate money-saving actions like sacking people and cancelling orders Confused

This stuff is about as scientific as astrology. Peoples happiness is driven by individual things. A friend who works in an A&E believes Christmas is the most depressing time because he sees so many domestic violence cases over the holidays.
