So in the space of this week it is now illegal to photograph a policeman & kiss on a railway platform. Yet more dumb laws. Do we really need eveything we do to be prescribed by rules & laws?

No, it just means that every time you want to grab a still or video shot you'll need a PR officer beside you to say what's OK and what isn't.
