Listening to the first segment of POTP today (22/03/09) I was struck by the number of bands featured or mentioned that I saw live in relatively small venues at the time - Atomic Rooster, Deep Purple, Ashton Gardner & Dyke and others I had in my head before I started typing this! Such a good time for those who appreciated live music, and all this amid so much rubbish "pop" as well! |

I decided to record the first hour of todays show and am listening to it now. It was a good chart! I was listening to Allinson's Albums being repeated from yesterday on BBC Radio York at the time. _________________ Pirate Johnnie Walker played my request on 11 April 2009 |
