...... is becoming very famous these days.
This Easter Radio Caroline is broadcasting a 45th year celebration of Radio Caroline's first arrival on air in northern Europe.

Not only is it the last ship from which Radio Caroline broadcast whilst a sea-borne station, but it's also the ship used for the exteriors in "The Boat that Rocked" (scenes shot off Portland Bill), and now it's being used in the masthead graphic for Pirate Johnnie Walker's showpage as seen here.
Good eh?
BTW, the Ross is normally docked at Tilbury, where a dedicated team of volunteers give up their valuable time to help to restore the ship to good order. Maybe one day it will again broadcast from the high seas? _________________ (signature and avatar removed, violated forum Rule 2.) |
