When it's a Pringle, according to makers Procter & Gamble.
The taxman and now the Appeal Court judges have disagreed, so those tall tubes of bland but salty (and therefore moreish) potato-flour snacks will be subject to VAT.

Will they take it to the European Court of Justice, which ruled in favour of both McVities Jaffa Cakes and M&S Chocolate Teacakes (they are officially cakes, not chocolate covered biscuits, and so exempt)? _________________ Ron |
