I am enjoying Sounds of the Seventees. But JW seems to be in a time warp. He keeps telling us how hip he is
He berated some venue which now calls itself pepsi something or other . He referede to the old name then said "That was a cool name"
Only thing is- it is 15 year old girls who decide what is cool or not!
JW should maybe bring on a 15 year old girl to the show who can say what is cool!
Otherwise- a pretty good show! |

If you missed today's edition I'd recommend it for Listen Again. For me it was the best one of the series so far, despite it not being live as last weeks was.
I thought it was Johnnie at his best, sounding like he was back in the 70s which I don't think he has done until today. Maybe he's finally settled in this new slot.
Santana, Crosby Stills and Nash, Bruce, Peter Frampton, Bob Dylan and Van Morrison to name a few. Took me right back!
