Anyone else watching Torchwood this week? It's fantastic!!!! " We are coming" "We are coming back" "We are coming tomorrow".... which is today...

to the point... Captain Jack ... no not the gay kiss... that was done years ago on Brookside...... it's this coming back to life thing he does.... he was blown to bits on Monday night by a huge bomb in his tummy - spread far and wide over Cardiff... a few bits ( arm and small part of his head) were retrieved by the bad people ( they always wear black don't they? It was the same in Primeval)Anyway this arm and part of his head came back to life , grew a new body and bingo he was Captain Jack again... all naked and tied up... Smile .... but what about all the other bits of him... why didn't they come back to life and start over again... why was it just the bits the bad people found? What if someone else finds a leg and a bit of his head in their greenhouse... what then? Two Captain Jacks?

Thought the children were good ..reminded me of " We've been observing your Earth, and we'd like to make a contact with you...baby"!

Sci-fi isn't usually my bag but there's something compelling about Torchwood.

It's getting better each night. The alien thing looks like an angry Elephant.

10% - there's a lot of talent agents out there would say, " 10%!!! it's not the 1950s.... it's 60-40 these days baby! and for that I'm doing you a favour!"

How will they arrive at the 10%? Stage a "Britain's got talent"- style show and the worst 10% go off to Alien land?

I don't know..."We are here", I have a uneasy feeling about what they want the children for. Either slaves or food, but since the aliens live in a poisionous environment to humans- that pretty much counts out the slaves option. I wonder if we are 20 minutes per pound + an extra half hour?

Captain Jack is looking a tad guilty..... let's hope it's just a mind game....

Cool beans!! It seems the kids are being used as a plug n play external hard drive... just a memory upgrade for Aliens .....who'd have thought of that?!......

It doesn't look too good for Captain Jack. Where's Dr Who when you need him?

Poor Ianto Crying or Very sad Can't believe he's gone. Should be a cracking finale, was a bit dubious about 5 nights on the trot, but it's benn really good.

I wonder if Ianto might somehow be resuscitated.

Interesting use of the school league tables too. Russell T D doesn't like/trust Goverment or civil servants very much does he? Smile

Yes poor Ianto.... there's always the Glove that can bring him back for 5 minutes .... maybe just time enough for one more kiss. My guess is Captain Jack will strike a deal with the 456 and Ianto will be part of it.

This has been the best telly for yonks.

Oh no! That was a really hard, grown up ending. Crying or Very sad Not what I had in mind at all. I’d have had everyone saved including the original 12 children. Where’s the OMEGA 24 when you could do with one? The big red button to take the world back 24 hours- so you can live the day again knowing what will happen – so you can change it. Surely TORCHWOOD has an OMEGA 24? Come on Russell what sort of an ending was that?! I’ve not been that upset since The Gladiator died at the end of his movie! Humph!! Crying or Very sad

I've heard that Series 4 is in the planning stage, so it will be all change, no Ianto Crying or Very sad no Gwen Smile so Cap'n Jack will have a new crew.
