Yes!
Looks like the Radio 2 website has resurrected a forum where listeners can actually talk about the shows on Radio 2! Like we did before this forum was set up, eh, was that really nearly 4 years ago?
Anyway check out:

I hope the board doesn't get invaded by silly posters. |

Excellent news that those in power at Radio 2 have decided to bring back a board for folk to post their views on BBC Radio 2.
I wonder how long before Scott Nelson invades it and starts posting anti Sarah Kennedy etc messages. |

I'm not sure if he hasn't already made a visit......... under a new alias of course.
Time will tell, but he forgets that some of us have long memories and can recognise his style of posting.

I think he has. Perhaps Mark Mayhew will confirm or deny my suspicions! This thread: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbradio2/F14126215?thread=6747770 _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Yes he's on there.
He will drop his guard soon I'm sure.
Still whilst he is posting on the BBC site he's not posting his venom on here which has to be a good thing.
Thought I would get an early thread on Richard Allinson going on the BBC site-fellow posters on here would be disappointed if I didn't. |

He won't last long on the new Radio 2 site if his previous track record is anything to go by.
Give it a few days and then we shall see his true colours. |

It's him alright, he's started a thread about a rock show on R2 with Tommy Vance.
I don't know how many times he's written the same post using different names...........

I see/note that Scott (and his aliases) are starting to create some excitement/resentment over on the Digital Spy Forum.
One particular thread on Sarah Kennedy is getting way out of order.
I guess once he is banned from DS he will try and rejoin R2OK. |

Well, I know Scott likes attention but I would prefer if you all confronted him at Digital or R2MB rather than speculating on R2ok where he can't defend himself, not that there's much to defend |

Is Scott also Alpha Brit or is someone parodying his style? I haven't bothered much with the R2 MB since three of the best music thread posters were banned. I find little of interest there now. |

I'm pretty sure Alpha Brit was one of his aliases back in the day.
What happened to the music thread posters? I've not been there for ages either. |

Ian
I believe there was some silliness over a person who posts about country music which got out of hand.
I don't look in that much and had been away. A lot of them decamped to Enough Already which came about when Jezzas closed.

I look, but rarely find anything to comment on these days.
The country music thing was a classic lesson on why you should never feed trolls, and some of those who did were just as bad anyway.
Scott appears to be in seventh heaven over there at the moment. Much of what he posts gets removed in the end, but it always mystifies me how, since as a "new" poster he must be in pre-mod, so much poison is ever allowed to be seen in the first place. _________________ Ron |

The 'host' says she has now removed his account though she asks to be alerted to his next pseudonym. No need really, he'll be easy to 'Scott.' |

He uses his own name on Facebook. He's exposed himself. This is what Jeremy was discussing on his Tuesday show. So Scott Nelson can't hide now.. |

Under different log ins. Changing his profile or email address. The problem he can't change his IP Address, unless he's got s few networks. Or he's using internet cafe's or even his work address. |

He can, actually, because most home IP addresses are changed almost every day in order to keep them dynamic.. This is better for security. A "static IP" address usually costs more, and suitable for people running web servers, etc., where the IP absolutely must remain the same. _________________ (signature and avatar removed, violated forum Rule 2.) |

I don't know about that. The only thing I know is you do have a fixed IP Address given by your network provider. Scott Nelson must know the ways of getting in. Hopefully the forum moderators can remove him quickly. He's hung himself on these forums for so many years. |

Definitely not. You IP address is dynamic by default (for the vast majority of home users). It's too risky for users and ISPs to make them static.
You can easily determine your IP address here: What's My IP Address?.
It will always be within a cluster (a range) that your ISP has been allocated, but the last three digits will be randomly rotated regularly. _________________ (signature and avatar removed, violated forum Rule 2.) |
