Were brilliant, I took these pictures and loads more besides. The only down side was it took an hour and a quarter to get out the car park Didn't spoil a great evening though.

Great photos, Toggy - glad you had a good time.
I saw him/them in April at the Nottingham Arena. Like a lot of the "old" acts, the new material is nothing to write home about, but he knows how to put on a good show and how to please the fans - by playing all the hits and best tracks of the old albums.
He looked frankly knackered, but his voice was in good shape. The band took a couple to get warmed up but after that the sound was pretty fine as well, which is more than could be said for the support on our night, the Russian singer Valeriya, shy, retiring sort who compares herself to Madonna. Never in a million years. _________________ Ron |

Brilliant pictures Toggy!
I was lucky to win seats at the Radio Theatre Feb 2008 when they did the Stars album concert. It was fantastic, but no pictures were taken for the website unlike most of the other concerts that are broadcast.

Blimey, is Simply Red still going? It must be 20 years (at least) since I saw them - at Wembley Arena. I recall that Mick Hucknall was in superb form but the band was awful. _________________ (signature and avatar removed, violated forum Rule 2.) |

He has a different band now Colby, these guys are really good, I saw them back in early 90's and I thought this one was better, it was electric from the start with all of them on top form. |

MH looks badly out of shape to me.
Like Colby saw Simply Red about 20 years ago at Wembley Arena-great gig-everyone dancing throughout if I remember correctly. |

Not sure what you mean there Mark, he looks fine to me, he's never been a particularly photogenic man. |

It's possible to get recordings of all the concerts from the tour - not bootlegs! They're professionally recorded each night and available to buy online afterwards either on CD or to download. |

Thanks shaky fan, I ordered my copy on memory stick a few days ago I think it is a great idea and as you say they are not bootleg copies, looking forward to hearing mine. |

I got one of the recent Madstock event in London. Really pleased with it - it came in a special presentation box with the date & venue on the front along with the Madness logo. And the USB version sold out within a few days so they're now a collectors item! |
