I hear very little of daytime radio 2 nowadays, but on holiday recently I did like that Chris Rea track, also the Cerys Matthews one. I would also recommend her 6 music show in the afternoon, a great listen!
Getting fed up of Hockey & Madonna. Time all stations put those away for a long time methinks! _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

The playlists were pretty good this week, even the corny ones. If you listen all day you may well be annoyed by those that get repeated; we have to bear in mind that a lot of people don't have that luxury and they might lose out on hearing the more obvious popular songs if the number of plays was restricted.
Next week I notice Jamie Cullum's insipid new single is added to the A list together with Spandau Ballet. Pixie Lott and Mika disappear altogether. Lisa Hannigan gets promoted to the B list, and Katherine Jenkins' cod-operatic take on the Evanescence track Bring Me To Life (which actually sounds less histrionic than the original) is plonked in list C. _________________ Ron |
