Heard the early part of Steve Wrong's show this afternoon and he was trailing an interview with Dizzee Rascal.

Now, don't get me wrong, I've nothing against young Mr Rascal but as an urban artist/rapper, a genre that R2 doesn't touch with a bargepole, (not even the extremely inoffensive Will Smith) why is he given airtime on the station?

Unless it's yet another attempt by SW to prove how hip, trendy and "yoof" he thinks he is.....

Because a lot of people like the show that's why it is still on.

As for the guest, an odd choice to say the least, I turned it off.

I didn't hear this, but I saw him butting into Diamonds Are Forever during Shirley Bassey's set on CIN Rocks the Albert Hall.

Is he the establishment's pet rapper?
