Kim Woodburn presents "How Clean Is Your House" Going around someones house and cleans up all the crap. Some peoples houses are like dumps. I don't know how they live like that. |

I am thrilled beyond all measure
How the heck are these people described as "Celebrities"? I know ITV are desperate, but... _________________ MiS |

Everyone is a celeb these days, MiS .... even you and I... If you've been on TV ( just in the background, maybe on the news, you're a celeb... if you've been caught on CCTV, just walking past, one day you will end up on telly in one of those TV programmes about people just walking past CCTV cameras... so you're a Celeb , just don't know it yet. The world has confused "Celebrity" for " has been on the TV/Radio/Youtube at some point" But .... it actually is.
1. a famous person
2. fame or notoriety
George Hamilton qualifies and maybe Sam Fox - well parts of her:)
Camillia Dellerup... I get mistaken for her all the time........here she is...

YAAAY!! I'm a celebrity then. Fortunately my 5 seconds of fame happened a long time ago, and there's no danger of me being recognised, or confused with anyone else (a drunk on the bus did once suggest I was David Mellor... and I wasn't even wearing a Chelsea shirt at the time!)
All I can say is that this bunch must be desperate for the money and exposure, or just desperate. I did sample one of the series (the one Phil Tufnell won) but they'd have to pay me what they're paying these "celebrities" to watch any more, Camilla Dallerup notwithstanding! _________________ Ron |

You'll have a long wait, Ian! Can you imagine a real celeb(i.e. someone with talent) getting involved in this load of didgeridoo? _________________ MiS |

Actually, it is easy for us, and countless journalists, to sneer at them, but I suppose, within the dictionary definition of "celebrity" - well/widely known, famous - most of them are, to a lot of people, not necessarily all of us.
Just like saying questions in a quiz (Millionaire, Trivial Pursuit, University Challenge) are easy/easier, if you know the answers to them.
Sabrina Washington and Stuart Manning are totally unknown to me, but are famous to the many who enjoy Mis-Teeq or Hollyoaks; but do those people know Kim Woodburn and Gino D'acampo? _________________ Ron |

Ha ha, so when all the 'celebs' meet they actually say to each other 'Who are you?'
Priceless!
Well, if it WAS without Katie Price I might watch some

George Hamilton, Sam Fox and Jimmy White I have heard of.
As for the rest of this bunch of losers, never heard of any of them and never want to again. ITV is a joke, they are obsessed with celebrity this and celebrity that and most of the time they are not celebrities at all.
Would not waste an minute of my time watching this dross. |

I've thankfully seen very little of this. The only one I can remember is from the series that featured John Lydon (aka 'Johnnie Rotten') and Janet Street-Porter a few years ago. The aforementioned Lydon & Street-Porter were down by the river and had managed to catch an Eel and one of them clubbed it to death. They & their fellow competitors (or at least some of them) had a treat for a meal that day! _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |
