Bruce Forsyth is to miss Strictly Come Dancing for the first time because he has flu. It first time since the show started back in 1994.

Strictly CD most certainly did NOT start in 1984!! I would say it was 2003?

Graham Norton has indeed been taken over, and will in future be made in China.

I don't know where 1984 came from!

That's the second one with week after poor old David Dimbleby missed question time yesterday for the first time in 15 years.

Just thinking the same Toggy.

I didn't enjoy QT as much with John Humphreys either.

If there was a dancing show on in 1984, I'd guess that it was the original Come Dancing. The one that had non-celeb teams from across the UK competing against each other.

Tha article clearly states that Tess Daly will take over Brucie's part and Claudia ( annoying hair-do ) Winkleman will carry out Tess' part..
So why is Evans blabbing on about it?

Typing error. Claudi Winkleman is stepping in.

Me neither, I think he is more suited to the radio but to be fair he probably had hardly any time to prepare.
Hope DD is better soon, sounds like a nasty accident he had.

Agree that JH left a bit to be desired (he was more Today than Question Time) but he didn't have much warning and hardly had an all-star panel to work on. In particular, whilst I admire James Cracknell for accepting the challenge of going on, I thought he was way out of his comfort zone.

Ian.
