... Chateau Lafite and Chateau Latour?
This story cheered me up the other day - a scary-looking, speech-recognising robot floorwalker employed by a Japanese department store -

Of course Asda already employs the human equivalent - they call them "Greeters" (though presumably something else in Scotland); the one in our local store is scary looking as well and you can hardly understand a word she's saying when she uses the PA.
I read recently that Sainsbury's is to introduce their version from 1st December. "Store Hosts" will not only be expected to direct people to the baked beans and toilets, but advise on new products, best buys and which wine goes with your Taste The Difference Cottage Pie. Bet the robot can't do that... yet. _________________ Ron |

'Come and get your black bin bags....' from Phoenix Nights came to this reader's mind!
Saya reminds me of my last boss at that charity shop. I'd like to see the robot deal with some of the scum we had there! _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

Would they make an apathetic, tattooed version for the UK market with 2 lbs of metal stuck in it's face and words limited to "Dunno mate" and "not really" _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07
