18th December 2009 9.25am - and there is silence in the Wake Up To Wogan Studio. Everyone leaves him on his own to play the last record whilst he sits back in the chair and has a moment to reflect on the last 27 years of the 2 stints hosting the breakfast show. Then as the handover between Terry and Ken happens you can hear the tearful goodbye in Terrys words.

The version of Stardust which he may play on his last day would surely be the peerless one by Nat King Cole.
