Heard him on Terry's show this morning - you could almost hear the strain as he reined himself in. Maybe the first couple of shows will be restrained and then... _________________ MiS |

Chris did sound nervous, also excited. I'm sure he will be ok. |

Ok for who, Mark? Ok for those who like loud, zoo-like radio in the mornings, but not for me. _________________ MiS |

I switched off as soon as he came on, at least he had the decency not to spoil tomorrow.

He seems to be muscling in on just about every aspect of Tel's "leaving". I saw him managing to get in on a photo of Tel at some award ceremony last week, looking for all the world like his sponsor or something.
Still at least he didn't try to take over tomorrow morning's slot.... _________________ Minx

So you have listened to Chris at breakfast on Radio 2? I thought the show hasn't been aired yet, so how can you or anyone judge if it's going to be a " Flop"? No exactly. I'm not having a go, but for anyone to judge from 11th January 2010 they must be listening, but some won't be listening on here, but I guess they will still put there two penith in. |

I can't listen to him, Mark, for the simple reason that I don't like his voice or his style of presentation. _________________ MiS |

I can't stand those zoo type shows, but I am listening to chris' show at Drivetime & am loving it.
I think he is a different animal from his earlier incarnations as a Breakfast Jockey.
Give him a chance.
Only, i will miss him at drivetime |

Chris was on Radio 4 this morning about 8.20am being asked about the 'take-over' from Terry. There were several pauses in the conversation. I don't know if this was because of Chris or the interviewer being bored!
I only ever listened to Terry Wogan between 9 and 9.30am so I'll do that as per usual today. |
