Whoever sanctioned that horrendous edit of Led Zeppelin's 'Stairway To Heaven' must surely be in gainful employment at the Dave channel - where crucial bits were hacked out of 'Spaced' to Simon Pegg's dismay, and out of 'Harry Enfield's Television Programme' to this viewer's dismay.
They played the botched edit of 10cc's 'I'm Not In Love' too. _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

AND they talked over the end of Roxy Music's Love Is the Drug, which is arguably one of the best bits of the song.
I must say, for a station that bangs on about the art of songwriting, and commitment to music, R2 doesn't dish out much respect to the songs it plays. With Sarah K cutting them off in their prime for more newspaper stories, Steve Wright singing along and Chris Evans shouting over them, the songs get quite a kicking. |

It really gets to me that they cut things off for some newspaper item that people will have seen - are the presenters convinced that listeners don't read? _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!
