Well, gosh, phfooooooooooo…. Sigh…. Ok….. erm…..what can I say….. ok right…. Well, for fans of the old Drivetime Show, I’m certain it was a big hit, as it was so similar to the old Drivetime show, it was difficult to tell them apart, we did only listen to the first hour and a bit though before tuning to Absolute Radio so it may have changed later on. For fans of Wake Up to Wogan, I’m sure that after all the reassurances, it was not what they were expecting. Certainly not what we were expecting- something new and different was the promise- something old and exactly the same was the reality.
I can’t believe that Sarah K had to drop her brilliant newspaper review just so that Evans could read out the headlines of the tabloid press. But much worse than that, I wasn’t able to wake myself up at 4am to listen to the magic hour with Alex. So overall, it was all very disappointing. |

Yeah, the headlines are pointless. It was more or less just Drivetime at breakfast. I missed the start, could only stick about an hour (the nation must have cringed collectively after the eight o'clock news), though, to be fair, it was a rare day when I could take all of Wogan. _________________ Ron |

I hope he expands the 'What have you got on today slot' to include what will you have on tomorrow. It'll be 6 music for me. |
