So the 300th anniversary of the Union sees more debate about its future:

Whilst the "West Lothian question" still bedevils the politicians on both sides of the Cheviots, it seems that more and more English people want their own separate Parliament, yet the SNP still can't attract a majority north of the border in favour of independence.

Personally, I'm happy for the Union to continue as long as it benefits both countries (and as far as I'm aware, it still does).
