I read that Adrian Chiles is threatening to quit 'The One Show' because the BBC want Chris Evans to do Friday Night One Hour Specials! Shocked

Yes, I know it sounds like a Harry Hill fight waiting to happen! Chris Evans will probably get it, because, lord knows, we don't want the ginger tyrant to throw his toys out of the pram AGAIN.

I was also convinced that the heavy snow in the US was because Evans wanted the moon on a stick (acknowledgements to Lee & Herring/Bruce Almighty).

I wonder how true any of this is, as the Friday show is actually the lowest-rated One Show (far from the "the pick of the bunch") and Chiles being off would free him up to do more sports-related coverage.

I would have thought AC would welcome a day off, given his footy commitments, but can't say I blame him if he's peed off about Evans. The rest of us are Rolling Eyes

Chris was due to host The One Show when Adrian took a Holiday, but that never happened. I wouldn't beleive anything yet. I reckon Chris will do some TV projects eventually for the BBC, but he's taking his time and let Breakfast on Radio 2 bed in first. It may want a little rest instead of flying around. I reckon as well he may eventually take over Children In Need from Terry off the Telly? We have to see.
