Is it just me, or does the start of the Michael Buble Cry Me a River sound like the music on the Winter Olympics trailer?
Love the song though, and dramatic though it may be, it's quite an unusual arrangement. _________________ Minx

It is one and the same, Minx, but there's no "y" in Buble _________________ MiS |

Unusual is one way of putting it.
I'll be very restrained and just say that the original is infinitely better - Julie London, with Barney Kessell on guitar.

Well, you can amend it, you know, minx.
While I'm here I can't help but be less restrained. The more I hear this awful, overblown, synthetic version of such a beautiful song the more I'd like to kick Mr Bublé somewhere tender. _________________ Ron |

Actually, Ron, I quite like it!!
If you want a real shocker: Peter Andre has released a cover of the sublime Bonnie Raitt's "I can't make you love me". Now, that is appalling! _________________ MiS |

I find it even more appalling that Radio 2 are playing it! |

I hate that OTT version of 'Cry Me A River' too! It makes the Barbra Streisand version, where she later admitted she's 'geshreying all over the place', seem like Bridget St. John or Vashti Bunyan!
I haven't heard Peter Andre's attempt at 'I Can't Make You Love Me', but he seems to be milking the sympathy bandwagon like nobody's business. _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!
