I feel a little like the boy who pointed out the flaw in the king's new clothes, but from what I've heard I'm reminded of the awful last few recordings they made Sinatra do. Painful. _________________ Ron |

I'm with you on this. Was it album of the week last week on R2?. It was indeed painful to listen to and I'm sure he can't have enjoyed recording it. I'd rather listen to him as he was. _________________ Minx

Couldn't agree more. Have you heard "For The Good Times"? It does his reputation no good at all, just like, as you say, Sinatra's last efforts. Let's remember them at their best. _________________ MiS |

All the tracks I've heard so far are awful. For the Good Times has been murdered.

Should have been titled 'Scraping the Barrel'.
Chris Hawkins played 'Jackson' (JC with June Carter) yesterday morning on 6 Music! Much better to remember him in his prime. _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!
