Is it just me, or does the start of the Michael Buble Cry Me a River sound like the music on the Winter Olympics trailer?

Love the song though, and dramatic though it may be, it's quite an unusual arrangement.

It is one and the same, Minx, but there's no "y" in Buble Wink

Unusual is one way of putting it.

I'll be very restrained and just say that the original is infinitely better - Julie London, with Barney Kessell on guitar.

Well, you can amend it, you know, minx.

While I'm here I can't help but be less restrained. The more I hear this awful, overblown, synthetic version of such a beautiful song the more I'd like to kick Mr Bublé somewhere tender. Twisted Evil

Actually, Ron, I quite like it!!

If you want a real shocker: Peter Andre has released a cover of the sublime Bonnie Raitt's "I can't make you love me". Now, that is appalling!

I find it even more appalling that Radio 2 are playing it! Rolling Eyes

I hate that OTT version of 'Cry Me A River' too! It makes the Barbra Streisand version, where she later admitted she's 'geshreying all over the place', seem like Bridget St. John or Vashti Bunyan!

I haven't heard Peter Andre's attempt at 'I Can't Make You Love Me', but he seems to be milking the sympathy bandwagon like nobody's business.
