Who is going to be the replacement for JR.
It will be announced soon I believe.
I'll go for Lisa Tarbuck. |

To be quite honest it doesn't bother me, so I'll wait until it's announced. I don't often listen at that time apart from short snatches.

It would be nice to have a good saturday morning show. a bit like the shows you used to get at that time- new releases, forthcomming releases, various guests, a good selection of new & old music.
Otherwise, Bill Oddie has been suggested- and I think he would be a good choice |

No way would Bill Oddie be any good Clive.
In anycase I think he's still suffering from depression so can't imagine he'll be the one.

Bill Oddie, I can't see that myself, I like the bloke but I just can't imagine him doing a regular radio slot, and yes he is still not well. |

I think Huey Morgan ought to get it as he knows his music. _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

Ricky Gervais, Steve Merchant and Karl Pilkington. The holy trinity of comedy could harp back to their best years on XFM. _________________

No thanks. When he covered for Ross once I only heard David Brent in his voice and the laughter. Rubbish... |

What about Chris Evans? We could then have a different presenter for the weekday breakfast show. Since I never listen to Jonathan Ross anyway I'd be happy for CE to replace him. |

I wouldn't, just in case 6 music gets the chop. Where would I go to on my Saturdays off? Replace with someone like Liz Kershaw who does an excellent 6 music show on Saturday afternoons if, God forbid, it is axed. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Bill Oddie - now that does take you back. He was a stand in for Derek Jameson around 1987. I remember that he didn't take kindly to Ray Moore referring to him as 'odd Billie'. |

I hope it's not someone who's "credible"
I'll miss Wossy but I'd like someone like Stewpot who will play all types of music from Bay City Rollers to Neil Young. |

Ed Stewart is someone who should have never been axed. Another 'Douglas Disaster' move IMO. Yes he should be brought back in some capacity. And not just at Christmas. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Stuart Maconie. I used to like his Saturday afternoon shows. Sadly I think it will go to Lisa Tarbuck, in my view Radio Horlicks. _________________ I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. |

Oh no, I'd hate to see the end of Radcliffe & Maconie in the evenings...
Number 6, what's happened to the new "Prisoner" series? _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

The new Prisoner series will be on our TV screens shortly.
Back on topic I think Lisa Tarbuck will get the gig. |

I thought nit was supposed to be shown in March but hey, that's ITV schedulers for you. They just show things when they like. _________________ I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. |

The Prisoner DVD will be out 3rd May, so probably on ITV in April (over Easter, perhaps). |
