How about Breakfast? It wouldn't be my first choice, but at least I might then be pursuaded not to switch off at 7.00am as I do now. Trouble is that I'm now in a habit of doing so and I might forget.

An excellent line up although I'd stay away from the 10 o'clock spot... cheese gives me nightmares!
I'd like to see a weekly Johnnie Walker Pirate Special with music news of the period as he's done before... or maybe a Caroline - London play off with Ed Stewpot or Keith Skues joining in.
Of course in a perfect world, JW would be on in the morning Sad

Wouldn't need to be Richard Alinson for late nights, but he seems quite popular in some quarters.
Other suggestions welcome!

as for Simon Mayo, i am not keen on his Drivetime show. I think there is a problem of too many "slots" & not enough music. I stopped listening a few weeks ago.
I think if the two northern geezers took over, their music Link feature would be much more entertaining than the current thing where people have to say how long random songs are.

As I've posted elsewhere I love the Radcliffe/Maconie pairing but I also really enjoy the present Drivetime show as well so, when there are so few shows I listen to these days I'd be happy for the Steve Wright show(s) to be replaced and , of course, the Breakfast Show".

Ah but Pontunes is no more - we now have the return of Confessions, and I'm glad. I really enjoy Simon's show. I only hear the first 45 minutes usually, but he's good company.

So they got rid of that feature? thank goodness.
Drive has a bit too much talk for me, so i tune into Magic for my journey home.

Not bad apart from Fri, the Arts show is hopeless with CW, and 4 nights of RA Rolling Eyes and where's the new live music show that sounds good ?

I must admit I don't usually hear much of Friday nights. I usually enjoy the documentay shows in the 7PM slot & the first part of Friday night is Music Night.I used to hear the arts show years ago, but i think the guy who used to do it passed away.
I havn't heard the new version.

He seems to hit the right notes for me at Breakfast. If i tire of the show, i switch over to BBC London which is even more talk.

I think they might be OK in that time slot.
