John - I've been watching your posts over on the R2 Message Board (aka "the Scott Nelson Show") with interest and I have to say I agree 100% with the points you're making about the cringeworthy nature of the "interactive fun for all the family" show which some people seem to enjoy listening to at weekday breakfast times.
However, I somehow think you're wasting your time!
I also question the moderation policy; I'm aware that several members have a had posts deleted for no real reason - apart from the fact that they insist on criticising Evans' show. There's definitely something going on.........
Several posts I've made in the last week have simply not made it into the public domain, despite not breaking any BBC MB rules that I can see (I've been returned to pre-mod for no reason that I can see either).
So is it all worth the bother? The board is a joke! |

You're right Colin, I've decided its not worth the bother, except for the occasional wind-up! _________________ Pirate Johnnie Walker played my request on 11 April 2009 |

I don't post that often there, and I never respond to Scott, he's too childish and ill-informed even after 4 years of it.
But I do find lonegroover a challenge, quite entertaining.
I was put in pre-mod when I repeatedly explained to Peta what was wrong with the old message-order format.
Now they've fixed it but I am STILL in pre-mod, but I won't crawl to them to change that, I'm not posting there for long exchanges that need quick response.
Just like to make a point every day or so. _________________ -

Indeed. Mr. Smug takes life (and BBC Radio 2) a little too seriously for my liking. It is amusing to read some of his "thou shall not be negative about Evans under any circumstances" replies though! |
