That sounded like one uncomfortable interview with Ringo on this morning's show. How prickly is that guy? Full credit to Wogan for persevering with it, and even mentioning the famed "peace and love, now sod off" issue. The guy sounded just so complacent and arrogant. Odd really, considering he was the least musically talented of all of them.

I don't entirely agree. Listen to his drumming on the "second side" of Abbey Road and it's as close to perfect as it's possible to get.

I thought Wogan was about to go even further and bring up the whole "don't call me by my stage name" saga - but he held off. Prickly indeed. I think I'll have to look at the video when they put it up just to see how bad he was.
