I am a huge Chelsea fan/fanatic and my wife is a massive Pompey fan.

Congratulations to Portsmouth for reaching the 2010 FA Cup Final.

We will both be at the Final-supporting our respective teams, but at different ends of Wembley stadium.

Yes Helen-I guess we will both crying tears at the end of the match-one of us will be crying tears of joy, the other will be crying tears of utter disappointment.

What ever happens it will be an interesting day for the 2 of us.

Why didn't you book seats side of the middle line? That way you could stay together but remain on your respective "sides"?

It's only a football game, after all (22 blokes kicking a ball around on a bit of grass, etc etc).

Colin-With the greatest respect/absolutely no offence meant (but clearly you are not a die hard football fanatic of a football team) but sitting on the half way line together at one of the most important events in both our lives would be absolutely inappropriate/total pants for the both of us.

We both need to be amongst our "brothers/sisters " at our respective ends of the stadium.

Clearly for one of us the journey home is going to be difficult.

Without doubt if Chelsea win I will be looking to give my wife my full support (lots of loving to cheer her up if you know what I mean) after the match Wink

And then swop seats at half time? Rolling Eyes

No football ground shares a main stand 50:50 not even Wembley. It'll be one main stand and one goal-end each.
