There's a rumourette knocking around that a consortium of broadcast professionals is coming together to apply for a national DAB licence from OfCom and aimed at the "traditional Radio 2 audience" (whoever that is). |

The "model" (if that's the right word) is the way that Planet Rock was rescued by a consortium of musicians including Rick Wakeman, Tony Iommi, Ian Anderson, Gary Moore, Fish & others.
I don't think that Mike Read's involved, though!
By the way - it really is only a rumour...... I know no more. |
