For those people who can drag themselves away from Chris
Evans on Friday Wink you may like to know that Stuart Maconie is presenting a show on 6 Music from 7a.m. called Full English Breakfast - advertised as 3 hours' worth of great English pop. Now let me think - would I prefer 2 & 1/2hours of CE or 3 hours of SM?

Thanks for the reminder! I hope he gets back from Venice in time!

If Stuart can't get back, will they have Bruce Dickinson on as a stand-in?

I heard some of Stuart's show on the I-player; was it pre-recorded or am I assuming he got back in time?

It was live. He was tweeting his journey last week that involved one mighty train ride. He got back on Wednesday... and then was off to London to do the breakfast show live on Friday morning.

Dedication - it's a byword to us Northerners.
