I know F1 is "persona non grata" on this board, but I just wanted to say how great it was to see Button using his skill and experience to triumph again today.

I also thought it was quite revealing at the post race press conference when someone asked Hamilton about his pit lane tussle with Vettel which subsequently led to a stewards' enquiry. All wide eyed innocence he professed total ignorance of the issue, but when pressed went on to give chapter and verse about both cars being released simultaneously and having wheel spin etc which led to the side-by-side pit exit.

That guy needs a manager, a mentor and better PR. An introduction to the truth wouldn't go amiss either. Shocked

I thought it was a good race, too.

How are the teams going to get back to the UK? Most of them are based within 50 miles of me, with the Red Bull team's HQ just down the road. Quite how they're going to get back, then have their turnaround in time for shipping out to the next venue looks uncertain.

It's 3 weeks to the next one I believe, so they have a bit of luck on their side!

Just heard that a friend of a friend stuck in New York got back by going NY>Dubai>Istanbul>trains to Calais>Eurostar!

I'd call it loosely the scenic route!
