Former world snooker champion Alex Hurricaine Higgins dies at the age of 61. He's been suffering from throat cancer for sometime. He was a legend on and off the snooker table and will be sadly missed in the snooker world. RIP.

I used to enjoy watching him. Couldn't reconcile the pictures I saw of him recently with the guy I used to admire back in the eighties. Such a shame. _________________ Minx
