I have started my midlife crisis and got myself not one but two tattoo's.I quite like them both on my forearm.Must admit it was a bit painful but worth it.Has anyone else got tattt's?

When I lived in Plymouth we used to go down Union Street and watch all the young matelots fresh out of Raleigh getting their obligatory tattoos done on a Saturday night after a skinful of beer ahead of boarding ship at Devonport on Monday morning.
The best thing was when they came out with tattoos professing their love for "Mandy" when their girlfriend's name was "Sue" or whatever! That's what beer and yer mates can do for you!
On the basis of that, and the fact that I came from a military (Royal Navy, Royal Marines, RAF and Army) family, I was never tempted to get a tattoo done and I never will. My wife hates them so that's a good enough excuse for me! |

Never in a million years. I hate tattoos, especially on women.

I don't have any, never would, although some tattoos do look good on some men... just depends on the man and the tattoo....  |

The other day we walking past a local church in order to see a bride getting out of the wedding car in readiness to enter the church. She had a beautiful wedding dress, but the tattoos on her arms and legs were clearly visible... and was taking a last-minute drag on a cigarette before photographer took a couple of pics.
Says it all really!
PS: Yes, she tossed the lit cigarette down onto the pavement. Yes, very elegant it looked too. Chav. |
