I liked the in-vision signing sketch where the signer kept getting in the way of the visuals!
I also liked the gift shop sketch with the numerous 'Previously...'s and 'Coming Up...'s! Someone's not happy about the way programmes on Channel 4 and Five are padded out with this. The superfast credits - which I freeze-framed - were typical of these! _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

Yes, this is done in support of other broadcasters who buy the programmes and who need them to be re-packaged for commercial breaks. If you look carefully at them you can see distinct points into which an "end of part" bumper can be inserted - hence the "Coming up..." and "Previously seen" bits. When these series are pitched by their production companies, they usually have to bring a package that includes supplementary programme sales so this kind of stuff is now built-in to a programme edit. It's rare that any of the broadcasters - including the BBC - will now provide 100% funding. |

Was False Jeopardy Productions a dig at Channel 4's outside production teams? The 'Fishmonger Out Of Watermonger' sketch was so much like a typical documentary of theirs.
I want to see them have a go at Hayley Taylor's 'Fairy Jobmother' series next - she was such a patronising cow to her victims.
They're also right about the Dave channel ruining closing sequences of programmes to trail something else - Virgin 1 are just as bad. _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

The Sherlock Holmes sketch in the last episode was so sad - I was reminded of an aunt who went off at tangents whenever she spoke to my mum on the phone. _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!
